Amid a lull in fighting in Gaza as the ceasefire deal is extended, Iran’s President reportedly cancelled his trip to Turkey at the last moment. Ebrahim Raisi was expected to fly to Ankara on November 28, as per an announcement by his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan weeks earlier. However, news reports suggested that the trip had either been called off or postponed. Reasons for the development were not specified.
