IndiGo, a Crew’s ‘Param Vir Chakra’ Awardee Gratitude Makes the Internet : “Flying with a Hero”

On Sunday, IndiGo honoured Param Vir Chakra awardee Subedar Major Sanjay Kumar on one of its flights. The combat hero was on a journey to Pune when he was honoured by the airline crew before departure. Indigo posted a video of it on their Twitter account. Captain Edsel can be seen in the video presenting the flight details before welcoming Mr Kumar boarding and telling him about his border skirmish. Mr Kumar was given a modest memento by the flight personnel. The captain stated, “At present, we’ve got a very special person joining us…we welcome Subedar Major Sanjay Kumar ji, who was awarded of the Param Vir Chakra.”

The video has received over 2 lakh hits on Twitter ever since it was released. A person responded on the tweet, saying, “Be grateful the kind act by @IndiGo6E”
