Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has been fielded as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Vidisha seat in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. The BJP announced its candidates on 195 constituencies at a press conference. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who served as the MP chief minister for 15 years, was dropped from the chief minister’s chair after defeating anti-incumbency in the 2023 Assembly elections. Mohan Yadav was later elected to lead the BJP government in the state.
In Madhya Pradesh, BJP has announced its candidates on 24 seats for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024. Candidates were declared for 51 seats from Uttar Pradesh, 20 from West Bengal, 24 from Madhya Pradesh, 15 each from Gujarat and Rajasthan, 12 from Kerala, 9 seats from Telangana, 11 from Assam, 11 each from Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, 5 from Delhi, 2 from J&K, 3 from Uttarakhand, 2 from Arunachal Pradesh and 1 each from Goa, Tripura, Andaman & Nicobar and Daman & Diu.

Sadhvi Pragya Thakur, who was fielded against former MP CM and Congress leader Digvijaya Singh from Bhopal constituency, has been dropped from contesting from the seat.
Apart from that, Ramesh Bidhuri, Parvesh Verma, Meenakshi Lehi, Harsh Vardhan have been dropped as candidates in the Delhi Lok Sabha seats.
