NEW DELHI: Meghan Markle, wife of Prince Harry from Britain, has launched a new lifestyle brand named after their California home, American Riviera Orchard.
The logo of the brand includes the word Montecito, the area where the couple resides, near Santa Barbara, known as the American Riviera. The social media account of the brand is managed by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex.
American Riviera Orchard seems to focus on kitchen and lifestyle products. The launch featured a vintage-style video showing Meghan arranging flowers and cooking. Users were invited to join a mailing list for updates on the brand.
Harry and Meghan, who now live in California, stepped back from royal duties in 2020. Their official Instagram account has been inactive since then. Meghan’s personal social media and blog were closed after their marriage.
The couple has been involved in various media projects, including criticizing the royal family, a Netflix series, and Harry’s autobiography. They had a podcast deal with Spotify that ended after one episode. Netflix dropped an animated series by Meghan. Despite this, a Netflix executive mentioned that more projects with the couple are in early stages of development.
