NEW DELHI: Self-help author and spiritual guru Marianne Williamson has announced the end of her Presidential campaign.
In a video message on X, Williamson thanked the supporters and donors for the support as she said, ” I take your support with me.”

“I hope future candidates will take what works for them, drinking from the well of information we prepared.”My team and I brought to the table some great ideas, and I will take pleasure when I see them live on in campaigns and candidates yet to be created,” Williamson said in a statement poster on her website.
The 71-year-old, who once served as a spiritual advisor to Oprah Winfrey, had reportedly contemplated suspending the campaign last month too after receiving only 5,000 votes in New Hampshire’s primary.
In a statement, she said, “had to decide whether now is the time for a dignified exit or continue on our campaign journey”.
However, Williamson chose to participate in the Democratic primaries in South Carolina and Nevada. This is also not the first time she has run for president, as she also campaigned in 2020. During her campaign, she gained national attention by calling for a “moral uprising” against then-President Donald Trump and proposed the establishment of a Department of Peace.
Williamson also advocated for the federal government to provide significant financial reparations to Black Americans as a form of apology for the long history of slavery and discrimination. Despite her efforts, Biden has emerged as the clear frontrunner, winning by large margins in South Carolina and Nevada, and even securing a victory in New Hampshire, where he was not officially on the ballot.
In the Democratic race, Minnesota Rep Dean Phillips remains as the only other candidate running against Biden.
