Iran’s navy adds Deilaman destroyer, capable of launching cruise missiles, to Caspian Sea fleet during inauguration ceremony. The 1,400-ton destroyer is 95 meters long, 11 meters wide, and can launch torpedoes at 30 knots. Deilaman can detect over 100 targets simultaneously, including vessels, drones, helicopters, submarines, and aircraft. Iran’s naval power in the Caspian serves peace, security of commercial fleets, and counter-terrorism efforts. Iran now has six warships in the Caspian Sea, where Russia holds the largest naval presence.
