After making waves at the box office with his film, ‘The Kashmir Files‘ in 2022, Vivek Agnihotri is now promoting his latest release, ‘The Vaccine War‘.
The filmmaker recently took to his social media handles to share a shocking video of people protesting against his film in front of a cinema hall.
Watch the video here:

In the video, people can be seen holding something in their hands while the policemen were trying their best to mollify the situation.

A bunch of onlookers have also gathered in the clip. Vivek Agnihotri shared the video and wrote, ‘I have just received a video of protest against #TheVaccineWar. Why are people getting rattled if they are clean?’

The movie is getting a lot of attention in the film industry. It’s making people talk about important things and getting support from important people, which shows how important it is. It talks about how Indian scientists helped the country in a difficult time and how brave women scientists went above and beyond. The film is becoming popular mainly through word of mouth, like all of Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s movies. It’s slowly but surely winning people’s hearts and leaving a lasting impression.

In an interview with Mid-Day, Vivek recently spoke about the chances of ‘The Vaccine War’ going to the Oscars. He shared that they don’t think of Oscars or any awards while making a film. For him, what matters the most is the National Award. He is an Indian and believes in the top honour of his country.
He also went on to add that their films are set in the Indian milieu and socio-political situation and to be recognised by the President is a matter of honour. He also clarified that they don’t make movies for a National Award but the themes of their films are better suited for that. According to him, if he has to go to the Oscar, he will go directly.
‘The Vaccine War’ features Nana Patekar, Sapthami Gowda,Raima Sen, Anupam Kher and Pallavi Joshi in lead roles. The film was released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on 28th September 2023.

Vivek Agnihotri feels Shah Rukh Khan’s recent blockbuster films like ‘Jawan’ and ‘Pathaan’ ‘very superficial’; says ‘He can do far better’
