In an interview with Mid-Day, Vivek recently spoke about the chances of ‘The Vaccine War’ going to the Oscars. He shared that they don’t think of Oscars or any awards while making a film. For him, what matters the most is the National Award. He is an Indian and believes in the top honour of his country.
He also went on to add that their films are set in the Indian milieu and socio-political situation and to be recognised by the President is a matter of honour. He also clarified that they don’t make movies for a National Award but the themes of their films are better suited for that. According to him, if he has to go to the Oscar, he will go directly.
