Sunny Leone, a Bollywood star, has pledged a Rs 50,000 reward for the safe return of a missing 9-year-old girl
Actress Sunny Leone took to her social media account on November 9 to make a heartfelt plea for help in finding her house help’s nine-year-old daughter, Anushka Kiran More, who went missing in Jogeshwari, Mumbai. Expressing her concern, Sunny shared Anushka’s photo and details on her Instagram, urging her followers to assist in locating the young girl.
In a bid to amplify the search, Sunny tagged the official accounts of Mumbai Police and the BMC, providing information that Anushka has been missing since the previous evening from Behram Baug in Jogeshwari West. The actress also took a step further by offering a reward of Rs 50,000 to anyone who could ensure Anushka’s safe return to her family.
In her Instagram post, Sunny expressed her distress, “I will personally add an additional 50,000 Rupees to have this girl returned home safely to her family. @mumbaipolice @my_bmc @mahilamangal THIS IS ANUSHKA DAUGHTER OF MY HOUSE HELPER SHES BEEN MISSING SINCE LAST EVENING 8th NOVEMBER 7pm FROM JOGESHWARI WEST BEHRAM BAUG SHES 9 YEARS OLD HER PARENTS IS GONE MAD IN SEARCH OF HER.”
Highlighting the severity of the issue, Sunny’s post shed light on the alarming number of missing girls and women in Maharashtra, with 3,594 cases reported from January 1 to March 31 of the current year. Of these, 383 cases were from Mumbai alone, emphasizing the urgency of finding Anushka.
