Raveena Tandon has showcased her versatility as an actress in both dramatic and romantic contexts with her performances in movies like Andaz Apna Apna, Mohra, Dilwale and Aks to name a few. However, she has never kissed her co-actors on the screen because she was not comfortable doing it.
She told Lehren Retro that there were no contracts or anything in those days but she always maintained a strict no-kissing policy in her films.
She then went on to recall an incident where she was doing a little rough handling scene with a male actor and his lips accidentally brushed her lips. She clarified that it happened by mistake in that whole frenzy because it was not even required.
Raveena revealed that she went to her room and threw up because she was not comfortable. “The shot got over and I went up and I had nausea. I could not bear it. I was like Yuck no. Please brush your teeth, wash your mouth a hundred times,” she added, and also mentioned that her co-actor was also apologetic about their lip accident.

In addition to this, Raveena was asked if she would be okay if her daughter Rasha Thadani did any kissing scenes. To which, she replied, “Again it depends. If she is comfortable doing it with someone, then why not? If she is not comfortable, nobody should have the power to force her to do anything that she does not want to do or what she is not comfortable doing.”
Rasha will be making her Bollywood debut with director Abhishek Kapoor
