As per KoiMoi, Ranbir is not giving up alcohol and meat for his public image but to do full justice to the role of Lord Ram. The film should begin next year in the month of February. It is going to be a trilogy where the first part will focus more on Lord Ram and SIta leading to Sita being kidnapped by Ravan. The makers of the film have also roped in Oscar winning company DNEG to work on VFX plates for the film.
But before that, Ranbir is all focused on his upcoming film Animal which is backed by Bhushan Kumar and is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga who earlier directed Kabir Singh and Arjun Reddy. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandana, and is slated to release on December 1. It will be clashing with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur. The teaser of Vicky’s film is releasing on 13th October and will be played prominently during India Vs Pakistan match the next day.
