Beginning in early 2024, the Ramayana film project will star Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash – indiansupdate

The highly anticipated Ramayana film project has been generating buzz in the Indian Film Industry for the past few years. Initially proposed as a trilogy back in 2020 by producer Madhu Mantena and under the direction of Nitesh Tiwari, the project is now primed and ready to kick off production. Pinkvilla has exclusively learned that Ramayana is scheduled to begin filming in the first quarter of 2024, featuring an ensemble cast led by Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash.

Nitesh Tiwari and his team have been diligently crafting the world of Ramayana, and the meticulous planning is finally complete. The visual effects for the film have been meticulously designed by the Oscar-winning company, DNEG, promising to captivate audiences with its immersive world. However, the true strength of Ramayana lies not only in its visual spectacle but also in its simple yet compelling storytelling and the intricate emotions shared between the characters.

In the upcoming epic, Ranbir Kapoor will take on the role of Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi will grace the screen as Sita Ma. Yash, on the other hand, is set to portray the ten-headed Ravana, a character he is eagerly looking forward to embodying. Filming for the project is set to commence in February 2024 for the first part of the trilogy, with Ranbir and Sai focusing on Lord Ram and Sita’s narrative. This initial phase of shooting is expected to continue until August 2024, concluding the production of “Ramayana: Part One.”

Yash, who assumes the pivotal role of Ravana, will join the cast for his sequences in July 2024. While he has a substantial presence in “Ramayana: Part One,” his character will take center stage in the second part of the film, which is set in Sri Lanka. Yash has allocated 15 days to shoot for “Ramayana: Part One,” marking a significant milestone in his involvement with the project.

All three leading actors have undergone extensive look tests and are enthusiastic about immersing themselves in the enchanting world of Ramayana. This classic tale of love is being masterfully adapted for the big screen by the creative duo of Nitesh Tiwari and Ravi Udyawar, promising an unforgettable cinematic experience.
