Delhi | On Saturday, Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena approved the partial closure of educational institutions until 2:30 PM on January 22. |
Goa | In light of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, the Goa government has announced a holiday for schools on January 22. |
Gujarat | A half holiday has been officially announced for all educational institutions in Gujarat until 2:30 PM on January 22, in commemoration of the Ram Temple Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya. |
Haryana | Due to the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the Haryana government has issued a notice declaring the closure of all schools, colleges, and universities until 2:30 PM on January 22. |
Madhya Pradesh | “On the occasion of Lord Shri Ramlala Pran Pratishtha program in Ayodhya, the state government has declared a holiday on 22 January 2024 in all the schools of the state,” a social media post of the school education department said. |
Maharashtra | In light of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony scheduled in Ayodhya on January 22, the Maharashtra government has declared a public holiday in the state. |
Rajasthan | In Rajasthan, schools and colleges will observe closure until 2:30 pm on January 22. |
Tripura | On the occasion of Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratistha, the Tripura government has announced a half-holiday on January 22. |
Uttar Pradesh | On January 22, schools and colleges in Uttar Pradesh, including government, aided, and private institutions will be closed as per the directive of the state government. |
