The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the provisional seat allotment result for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) stray vacancy round today, September 27, 2023. Students who had registered for this round of counselling can check their seat allocation status on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
If there are any discrepancies in the result, candidates are required to contact the MCC of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) via email at mccresultquery@gmail.com before 4:30 PM on September 27, 2023. It’s important to note that candidates should approach their assigned college or institute after the final result is declared and they have downloaded the allotment letter from the MCC website.
After the announcement of the NEET UG 2023 stray vacancy round result, successful candidates must report to their allocated colleges by September 30, 2023, to secure their admission to the MBBS and BDS programs.
Reporting for the NEET UG 2023 stray vacancy round had been scheduled from September 27, 2023, to September 30, 2023. This is the last and final round of NEET 2023 counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Based on the number of vacant seats, MCC may decide to extend the number of rounds for the NEET UG counselling 2023.

The NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a pan-India standardized test for students who wish to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), and AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc.) courses. The test is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
The NEET counselling process for 2023 began in July. The counselling process is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota (AIQ) seats and by the respective state authorities for state quota seats.
According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), a total of 20.38 lakh candidates appeared for the NEET UG 2023 exam. This is the highest number of candidates to have appeared for the NEET exam till date. The number of candidates has increased steadily over the past few years. In 2022, 18.72 lakh candidates appeared for the exam, and in 2021, 16.14 lakh candidates appeared for the exam.
