The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc Bangalore) regular application process is set to conclude on September 29, 2023.
Aspiring candidates who wish to register for the GATE 2024 exam without incurring a late fee can complete and submit their forms through the official website at gate2024.iisc.ac.in
The GATE 2024 examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 3 & 4 and 10 & 11, 2024.
Late application
From September 30 onwards, individuals can register for GATE 2024 until October 13 with a late fee. The late fee, amounting to an extra Rs. 500, will be applicable for those applying after September 29.

Important documents
As per the notice, the following documents are necessary for the candidate to keep ready for submission:

  • Candidate’s photograph
  • Candidate’s signature
  • Valid Identity proof: The same ID must be carried to the exam- Passport, PAN card, Voter ID, Aadhaar-UID, College ID, Employee ID, and Driving License.
  • Degree Certificate or Equivalent: Scanned copy of Degree Certificate, Provisional Certificate, or Certificate from the Head of the Department/Institute.
  • Optional documents: Category Certificate, PwD Certificate, Dyslexic Certificate
