“Sonia Gandhi’s Emergency Plane Landing with Oxygen Mask, Image Shared by Rahul Gandhi”

After attending the Opposition meeting in Bengaluru, Sonia and Rahul Gandhi were flying back to Delhi when their plane had to make an emergency landing in Bhopal. Congressman Rahul Gandhi uploaded a photo of his mother Sonia wearing an oxygen mask while seated in the plane a day after their jet had to make an emergency landing at Bhopal Airport.

Rahul posted the image on the social media site Instagram with the remark, “Ma, the epitome of grace under pressure.” An emergency tool used when the cabin pressure in an aircraft declines is the oxygen mask. After attending the Opposition meeting in Bengaluru, the two Congress leaders were en route back to Delhi when their plane had to make an emergency landing in Bhopal.

A Congress leader said that the unexpected touchdown was caused by a technological error. Shoba Oza, a prominent member of the Congress and the previous leader of the Madhya Pradesh Women’s Commission, declared: “The chartered plane carrying Sonia ji and Rahul ji made an emergency landing due to some technical snag.”

In addition to Oza and former Union minister Suresh Pachori, MLAs PC Sharma, Arif Masood, and Kunal Choudhary also came to the airport to greet the Gandhis. Around 9.30 p.m., both of them boarded an IndiGo flight headed for New Delhi, according to Oza.
