Sumita Misra, Additional Chief Secretary, Women and Child Development Department said on Tuesday that at the headquarters level, officers will make approximately 500 calls every month to beneficiaries, seeking real-time feedback. This feedback will help identify loopholes in the current system and improve the quality of Anganwadi services. Additionally, the hub will create awareness among the public about the services provided to beneficiaries, enabling close monitoring and delivering desired benefits to malnourished children and their families.
The hub will be implemented under Mission POSHAN-2, a national-level initiative to address malnutrition across the state. The department has called upon all stakeholders, including government departments, NGOs, civil society organizations, and the public, to cooperate in this campaign.
“Through such collaborative efforts, every child in Haryana can be provided with the necessary nutritional and care facilities, ensuring their well-being,” she added.
The launch of the telecalling hub marks a significant step in the fight against malnutrition in Haryana. The hub will provide a valuable platform for feedback, thereby improving the quality of services for beneficiaries. With the support of all stakeholders, the department is confident that it can make a real difference in the lives of children in the state.
