Constant rain in Gujarat has resulted in a flood-like condition throughout the state, making life tough for inhabitants. Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on the state’s current situation on Sunday, saying that the Centre and the state government will remain with the people during this difficult time. PTI reported that heavy rains lashed many regions of Gujarat, flooding low-lying areas in towns and villages resulting in a flood-like scenario.
Because of the extensive rainfall in Gujarat, the government is doing everything it can to assist individuals affected by the flood-like scenario in several regions.
I asked Chief Minister Shri @Bhupendrapbjp ji about the situation. Local officials and members of the NDRF and SDRF personnel are helping the residents of these locations. In this trying moment, the Central Government and the State Government stands with the people,” Shah posted in Hindi.
